THANKS KELLY AND GREG!
Located in downtown Portland, (5035 NE Sandy Blvd. Portland, OR)
the Rhinelander is a great place to eat and spend an evening
enjoying German music. An accordian player, dressed in the traditional leder-hosen,
wanders through the restaurant stopping at diners' tables and playing typical German songs.
He is pleased to play requests and when a group welcomes him particularly warmly,
he spends quite a time in the area. The waitresses are dressed in German-style dresses
as well and join in singing some of the well-known songs.

The service is very good with a very friendly wait staff and we found the food
particularly enjoyable. Many of the typical German dishes are on the menu
as well as some American ones, plus a variety of beers and wine.
