On the afternoon of September 22, Vern and Letha crossed into Arkansas 13 miles from Branson,
continued 22 miles to Harrison and without stopping 26 more miles to Yellville. Here they stopped
for gas, having trouble making the pumps work, they were different. Yellville is the county seat
of Marion Co. and is 650 ft. above sea level. They continued on, passing through Flippin, driving
