LaVerne (Vern) was born in Allegan, Allegan County,
Michigan
His home address was the same.
Vern served in the U.S.Navy just after the Korean
War, aboard the
USS.Kawishiwi-AO146
Vern started his career as a Telecommunication
Designer of telephone lines which encompassed design and construction
supervision from the equipment in the central office to the telephone set
in the house. He wrote a book on "TELEPHONE
PLANT RECORDS" which was published by the Telephony
Publishing Co.
He worked for the Boeing Co. where he first designed
facilities to support data
to the desk top and then became a web-designer.
On the Boeing web he
produced maps of every country in the world and
added links to all Boeing sites. |
