Mrs. Elizabeth Bouwman aged 77, passed away Wednesday at noon at her home, 114 Quimby St. NE. she is survived by her husband, Jacob; four daughters, Mrs. Herman Nauta, Mrs Dora VanMalsen and Miss Gertrude Bouwman of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Melvin Edwards of Wayland; five sons, John,.Benjamin,.Peter,.Jacob Jr..and Herman of Grand Rapids; twenty-five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Roy Fields of Grand Rapids and one brother, Ben Noord of Muskegon. Mrs. Bouwman will repose at the family home from Thursday noon until 10 o'clock Saturday morning, when she will be removed to the VanStrien-Alman Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 o'clock.  Rev. Howard A. Keithley officiating. Interment Fairplains Cemetery.

Bouwman -- John Bouwman Sr., Aged 76; formerly of 736 Alexander, SE, passed away at Pine Rest Christian Hospital early Saturday morning.  He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Kate); five sons, John Jr., Andrew, Donald and Jack Bouwman and Dr. Jack VanderWood; four daughters, Mrs. Collins (Betty) Osterhouse, Mrs. Richard (Jane) Weemhof, Mrs. Simon (Marion) Dykstra and Mrs. Sam (Doris) Minasola; 29 grandchildren, and 12 great- grandchildren; two brothers, Peter and Benjamin Bouwman; four sisters, Mrs. Herman Nauta, Mrs. Harry Beukema, Mrs. Elizabeth Welsh and Miss Gertrude Bouwman.  Funeral services will be held Monday 2 p.m. at the DeVries Funeral Home, Rev. Lawrence Borst officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Bouwman reposes at the chapel where relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 8 to 9:30 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the Pine Rest Christian Hospital.

Jack Bouwman Dies Here at 64
Jack Bouwman, 64 of  1605 Center Ave. NE, owner of the Grand Rapids Marble and Fireplace Co., died unexpectedly of a heart ailment condition Friday morning at Butterworth Hospital.  He was a member of the Calvary Undenominational Church.  Surviving are his wife, Florence; four brothers, John, Benjamin, Peter and Herman, all of Grand Rapids and four sisters, Mrs. Herman (Carrie) Nauta, Mrs.Harry (Dora) Beukeman and Miss Gertrude Bouwman, all of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Elizabeth Welsh of Wayland; several nieces and nephews:
Funeral services will be held at 3p.m. Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Van't Hof-DeMeester Funeral Home, 851 Leonard St. NW. with the Rev John Miles of Calvary Undenominational Church, officiating. Burial will be at Fairplains Cemetery.  Mr. Bouwman reposes at the funeral home where relatives and friends may meet the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Saturday and Sunday.

Benjamin Bouwman, aged 75, formerly of Plainfield Ave. NE, passed away at the Michigan Veterans Facility Wednesday evening.  Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Peter. (Erma) Boomker; a granddaughter, Lori; a brother Peter; three sisters, Mrs. Herman (Carrie) Nauta, Mrs. Harry (Dora) Beukema and Miss Gertrude Bouwman; two sisters in law, Mrs. John(Kathryn) Bouwman and Mrs. Jacob(Florence) Bouwman, all of Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Van't Hof Chapel  of the Hollebeek-Oele Mortuaries with pastor Dr. Henry Bast of the Bethany Reformed Church officiating. Interment Garfield Park Cemetery. contributions in memory of Mr. Bouwman may be made to the Bethany Reformed Church. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 7 to 9 Thursday evening and from 3 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday at the Van't Hof Chapel, 851 Leonard St. NW.

Gertrude Bouwman, aged 86, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Feburary 16, 1999. She is survived by several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and a nephew. Funeral and committal services will be held on Thursday at 2:30 P.M. at Rest Haven Home, 1424 Union NE, with Mr. Frank Detrick officiating. Interment in Fairplains Cemetery.
