Another friend invited us to his home in Laie (by Poylnesian Culture Center) for a Pig Cookout Vern remembers taking a walk down a sandy trail to the beach.  The pig had been cooking since the day before - The steam trap is coming off.

UNDER FOIL IS THE PIG - IT IS CARRIED TO THE CUTTING TABLE 
WE ARE ABOUT TO EAT - IT IS BEING CUT UP They also served a brew made from some root in the jungle - It made my mouth numb. THIS WAS REALLY GREAT!!!  |
