This site has no new palace. It is long in history with Roman items found here
such as complete metal portions of a catapult frame.

The current item of interest are the
Iraqi Special Weapons Facilities

This the Al Hadr Air Force explosives site with an instrumentation bunker for observing large
test explosions. The inspection teams have observed that the firing site had been used,
all instrumentation had been removed
There has been an open firing range for fuel-air bombs and fragmentation testing here.
 

Al Hadre CW Test Facility was Iraq's only known CW test facility.
It had one revetted storage bunker with estimated Filled capacity of 2,500 cubic meters.
However, it was doubtful if this bunker stored large, quantities of agents or munitions.
