Speaking at a joint press conference with the Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul, Powell said that the government had given a positive response to Washington’s request to have supplies for its forces in south Kurdistan shipped through Turkey. "We have solved all the outstanding issues with respect to providing supplies through Turkey to those units," said Powell.
